- Time tracking without a paid plan. In ClickUp, native time tracking is listed on Unlimited at $7 per user per month; in Taskee it is part of the free product — see time tracking.
- Nothing is trial-only. Taskee’s reports are permanent, not gated behind a countdown the way ClickUp’s free Gantt charts and dashboards are.

What Taskee does not have yet
Taskee is a young product and the honest list of what it does not do is short but real, as of 2 September 2026:
- No standalone mobile app. The FAQ says it plainly: Taskee is adapted for the mobile browser and can be saved to the home screen, but there is no iOS or Android app.
- No native connectors. There is a documented REST API with 140 endpoints and a published OpenAPI 3.0 specification, plus CSV export, but no ready-made Slack, Google or Jira integration and no webhooks — see Taskee integrations.
- No Gantt chart or timeline view.
- No automation rules.
- Several features are marked “Soon” on the site — project budgeting, quick tasks, personal projects, custom reports and others. Roadmap is not delivery, and nothing on this page counts them as shipped.

Sixty megabytes is not a typo — it is ClickUp Free Forever’s total file storage for the whole
workspace, and it fills fast: a handful of full-resolution screenshots, one short screen recording or a couple
of PDF exports can use it up. Everything past that either lives outside ClickUp or waits for Unlimited at $7
per user per month billed annually ($10 monthly), which is also where Gantt charts, unlimited integrations and
native time tracking begin. Taskee’s ceiling is up to 10 GB, about 170 times more, and it is not
rationed per feature.
The trade runs in the other direction too. ClickUp Free still includes 5 Spaces, 40 lists per Space, 3
whiteboards, a form and 100 automation runs across 5 active rules, and its free workspace is not capped by
seat count either. A team that wants that breadth and keeps files small gets more tool for $0 from ClickUp
than from Taskee.
What ClickUp’s free automation buys
One hundred automation runs a month across five active rules is enough for basic if-this-then-that
behaviour: move a task when a status changes, assign it when a tag is added. It is a small allowance, and it
is still more than Taskee offers, which is none. A task that needs to move or notify someone in Taskee needs a
person, or a script written against the Taskee REST API — 140 endpoints
with a published OpenAPI 3.0 specification. That is a workaround for a developer, not a feature for the rest
of the team, and this page will not call it equivalent.
The same trade shows up in reporting. ClickUp’s dashboards are trial-only on Free, so a team that
wants a live view of workload either pays or watches the trial run out. Taskee’s project, people and
